We held the General Assembly Meeting of our Association, one of the most important professional organizations of our country and sector, in June. With our esteemed members we met at our General Assembly, we discussed the works we will do in 2023 by evaluating the works we did in 2022. With this opportunity, I would like to present my heartfelt congratulations to the members of our Association, all its presidents, members of its board of directors, and its employees, who have endeavored greatly for our sector.
We have announced our Ready Mixed Concrete Sector Report, which comprehensively analyzes our sector that makes significant contributions to our country's economy, for the year 2022. The Report, which we prepared in the light of the data provided by the Turkish Statistical Institute, the Central Bank, the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey, and the information provided by THBB members, producers, and suppliers other than THBB, includes detailed analyzes, evaluations, and projections for the Turkish economy, the construction sector, and the ready mixed concrete sector. Our Report, which shows that Turkey maintains its position as the leading country in Europe in ready mixed concrete production, reveals the fact that we are very important for the Turkish economy and the construction sector. The Report, which indicates that some of the problems in the Building Inspection processes pose a negative impact on the producers, draws attention to the provision of the infrastructure that will pave the way for all ready mixed concrete producers in Turkey to come under the roof of THBB.
