Yavuz Işık, President of Turkish Ready Mixed Concrete Association, warned Turkey once again on the 17^th anniversary of the 17 August Earthquake.  Reminding that 95 percent of Turkey’s population lives in the earthquake zones, Işık said, “Our biggest problem is that awareness regarding earthquake has not been raised yet. It is up to us to survive earthquakes with little damage through inspections and use of quality concrete. Quality ready mixed concrete with KGS certificate to be used in the urban transformation works will save lives in the case of a possible earthquake. ”
