Organized by Turkish Ready Mixed Concrete Association (TRMCA), “Beton 2017 Ready Mixed Concrete Congress and Exhibition” will bring together the ready mixed concrete, cement, aggregate, and construction sectors in Istanbul. “Beton 2017 Ready Mixed Concrete Congress” will be held on 13-14 April 2017 and “Beton Istanbul 2017 Ready Mixed Concrete, Cement, Aggregate, Construction Technologies and Equipment Exhibition” on 13-15 April 2017 at Istanbul Expo Center in Yeşilköy, Istanbul.

Turkish Ready Mixed Concrete Association (TRMCA) organizes “Beton 2017 Ready Mixed Concrete Congress” on 13-14 April 2017. 400 delegates will attend the congress and 60 papers will be presented during this event. This congress will be followed by representatives of the ready mixed concrete sector and sub-industry firms besides academicians and researchers.
Turkish Ready Mixed Concrete Association (TRMCA), with the main objectives of improved quality and increased consumption of the ready mixed concrete produced and used in Turkey, organized the ERMCO - European Ready Mixed Concrete Congresses in 1995 and 2015 and national ready mixed concrete congresses in 2004, 2008, 2011 and 2013. Believing that the sector will be developed by mutual consultation and effort, TRMCA has made a decision to organize Beton 2017 Ready Mixed Concrete Congress.
The congress is structured in sessions on topics such as constituents of concrete, quality control of production process, in-situ quality control, special concretes, concrete design and solutions for specific projects, reclaimed/recycled concrete, concrete roads and highway safety structures, concrete plants and productivity of concrete delivery, recent developments in concrete technology. The Scientific Commitee of Beton 2017 Congress has agreed on organising the congress for reputed Emeritus Prof.Dr. Saim AKYÜZ. Known for the studies on mechanical modelling of concrete, he is one of the names that provided valuable contribution for the establishment of the KGS - Quality Assurance System in 1996 thus the increase of the quality of the ready mixed concrete in Turkey.
The congress is organized with the contribution of main sponsors “Ford Trucks” and “Betonstar” and official sponsors “Epo”, “Yapıchem”, “Chryso”, “Pascal” and “İston”. After evaluation, the Scientific Commitee of Beton 2017 Congress has accepted 60 papers.

In parallel with the Congress, Turkish Ready Mixed Concrete Association and Kalite Fuarcılık organize “Beton Istanbul 2017 9th Ready Mixed Concrete, Cement, Aggregate, Construction Technologies and Equipment Exhibition”.
“Beton Istanbul 2017 Ready Mixed Concrete, Cement, Aggregate, Construction Technologies and Equipment Exhibition’’ is the most common platform related the ready mixed concrete industry. Within the Exhibition, that will take place on 13-15 April 2017 in Istanbul Expo Center, the Products, vehicles, machineries, and state-of-the-art equipment as well as the services and hardware relating to ready mixed concrete, cement, aggregate, and construction sectors will be exhibited. In addition to ready mixed concrete and cement equipment, concrete plants, construction equipment, lorries and tow trucks, concrete truck mixers, pumps, toolings, cranes, various concrete chemicals, automation systems, tires and fuel products, industrial machines and a wide range of products will be exhibited to the concrete and aggregate producers and contractors.
The fair where 65 firms will be represented with 150 brands, will host 10.000 visitors. It is expected that Beton Istanbul 2017 Fair will be visited mainly by the companies from Europe, Middle East, Africa and Asia similarly to previous years. The fair is supported by Istanbul Chamber of Industry, Ankara Chamber of Industry, Chamber of Civil Engineers, Turkish Employers Association of Construction Industries, Turkish Contractors Association and Turkish Green Building Council. Fair will bring together the ready mixed concrete industry, one of the major branches of the construction sector being the leading industry of the Turkey’s economy, and its related sectors under the same roof.
