The iftar dinner of the Turkish Ready Mixed Concrete Association organized every year and become a tradition now was held on 9 July 2015 at İTO Cemile Sultan Coppice. At the iftar dinner that welcomed broad participation, the representatives of the ready mixed concrete sector came together.
Giving a speech subsequent to the iftar, Yavuz Işık, Chair of the Board of Directors of THBB evaluated the sector. Stating that the construction sector is the locomotive of Turkey’s economy, Yavuz Işık reminded the sector has grown continuously for the last 10 years. Işık pointed out that such growth has started to decelerate for the last few years and highlighted the requirement of analyzing the markets well and taking various precautions to understand the reasons of the deceleration and to accelerate growth of the sector.
